Overview
Our N Gauge silicon moulds may be used for casting parts in Plaster (Stone) or Resin. You can make as many as you want for you railway layout or diorama.
For casting with plaster we recommend Herculite 2 that can be purchased on ebay or other outlets and we have a series of videos showing the casting process.
For casting in resin, we can only recommend polyurethane resins as these have been fully tested on all our moulds. We recommend fast cast resin as you can make your parts very quickly, however slow cast resin works just as well and may be a better choice if you are new to the process and you will have a longer working time so in effect can pour many moulds in a single session. Again we have videos on our channel showing the process.
