Blended with a very hard powder for extra strength. You will have 30 minutes before this plaster begins to set allowing you to ensure you have no air bubbles. Virtually no expansion ensures you can extract your casts much easier than with other casting powders
Mix at 40:100 ratio of Water / Powder
• Set Time = 30 Minutes
• Expansion 0.08
• Strength 40 N/mm2

This is our original Tuffcast made for most of our moulds and is a good all round strength and especially formulated to be engineering grade for minimum shrinkage
Larger Moulds do not need as high a strength so you may want to check our other products and save yourself some cost We also have our Tuffcast Extra for even more strength on those really fine parts that will benefit from a high tensile strength to stop breakages on things like really fine window bars |
